Community Outreach

Our hearts go out to all who have been impacted by the horrible COVID-19 virus. It’s times like these that give us the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. We know so many of you kind-hearted folks wish you could get out and help in some way, and we believe showing our support, appreciation, and love towards others is the thing to do at this time. Here are ways in which you can help.

Outreach for Health Care Workers

So we are showing our gratitude to the courageous heroes on the front line by partnering with Power of Women and Donna’s Delights to send food and treats to our local healthcare workers. We hope you’ll join us in spreading cheer by sending lunch and cookies to our local hospitals. Please share this post so we can do more acts of kindness and brighten up a day for the ones saving our loved ones lives.

We are all in this together. People helping people is extremely powerful and more important than ever.

Food Donations for Students

The Eureka Union School District is seeking food donations for students. The president of the district sent out a message saying, “There are many students in the Eureka Union School District whose families are in crisis as a result of the COVID-19 crisis, and they are struggling just to put food on the table.

We are seeking donations of non-perishable food, grocery store gift cards and cash (several restaurants who themselves are struggling have offered to provide discounted meals) to assist these families. Checks can be made out to the Eureka Union School District. For non-perishable food items, the District is seeking snacks for students such as granola bars and juice boxes, non-perishable groceries such as pasta and sauce, peanut butter, crackers, macaroni and cheese, canned fruit, apple sauce, breakfast cereals, snacks, canned soups, chili etc., as well as new or gently used children’s books, puzzles, board games, and arts and crafts supplies.

Food and donations can be dropped off at THE STUDIO, and we will deliver them to Renee Nash, President of the Eureka Union School District Board of Trustees.
