THE STUDIO’s Blessing Bag Project
Spreading Warmth, Dignity & Hope Throughout Our Community
For more than a decade, THE STUDIO Martial Arts & Fitness has been committed to giving back in meaningful, hands-on ways. One of our most impactful annual initiatives is our Blessing Bag Project—a community-driven effort to provide winter warmth and essential items to individuals and families in need throughout Placer and Sacramento Counties.
Each year, our students, families, instructors, and local business partners come together to assemble hundreds of Blessing Bags. These bags are filled with practical items such as:

Warm beanies, gloves, scarves, and socks

Hygiene essentials and toiletries

First-aid items

Notes of encouragement and hope

Additional winter necessities
These bags are then distributed directly to shelters, churches, crisis-support centers, domestic-violence programs, nonprofit partners, and community outreach teams. Every Blessing Bag represents more than just supplies—it represents comfort, dignity, and a reminder that our community cares.
Why We Do It
The winter months can be especially difficult for those experiencing homelessness, financial hardship, or crisis situations. Basic necessities that many of us take for granted—warm clothing, hygiene items, and personal care essentials—can make an immediate and profound difference in someone’s life.
THE STUDIO believes that no one in our community should face cold nights alone. Through this initiative, our members learn compassion, leadership, and service, while the community benefits from direct support where it is needed most.
How You Can Help
There are several ways individuals, families, and businesses can participate:

We accept new winter wear, basic essentials, travel-size toiletries, first-aid items, and other practical supplies to include in the bags. You can pick up a bag and bring it back filled, or you can donate $30 and we will fill a bag for you!

What began as a small act of kindness inside our dojang has grown into one of the most significant holiday-season outreach efforts in our region.
