In support of National Bullying Prevention Month this October, THE STUDIO Martial Arts & Fitness will host a FREE community event on Saturday, October 22 to help put an end to bullying.
This one-hour workshop for girls and boys, held from 11am to 12pm, will provide tools to help identify, report, and resolve bullying. The importance of recognizing and valuing our differences will also be highlighted, along with our responsibility to work together to beat bullying.
One thing that makes this workshop unique is that it will be taught by kids. Black Belt children from THE STUDIO will conduct the workshop under the guidance of 7th Degree Black Belt Master Amitis Pourarian, owner of THE STUDIO.
The workshop, which is sponsored by Education Enrichment Services, will teach children about personal safety while discussing types of harassment and ways they can help stop it using effective conflict-resolution strategies. For more information, please see the flyer below.
The workshop is for children 1st grade through high school. It’s open to the public at no cost, and no experience is necessary.
Space is limited and attendees must RSVP. Please call us now at (916) 258-5425 to register your children!
