We’d like to congratulate Alex Tymchyshyn, the recipient of our $250 Academic Excellence Award! The award was presented at our Annual Holiday Party and Awards Ceremony on Saturday, December 10.
The award, sponsored by Mathnasium of Granite Bay, was developed to help emphasize to our members the importance of striving for academic excellence. Applicants submitted a 1-page essay explaining why they believed they should receive the award, with a focus on their academic achievements and/or improvements in conjunction with balancing their non-academic activities. Mathnasium of Granite Bay reviewed the essays and selected the winner.
